Henry is a town in Codington County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 267 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Watertown, South Dakota Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Demographics

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 268 people, 101 households, and 71 families residing in the town. The population density was 185.3 people per square mile (71.4/km²). There were 116 housing units at an average density of 80.2 per square mile (30.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.88% White, 0.37% Native American, 0.75% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.87% of the population.

There were 101 households out of which 37.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.4% were married couples living together, 9.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.7% were non-families. 26.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.28.

In the town the population was spread out with 28.7% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 31.7% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 9.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
